Lynda Munoz I don`t like to fly, because I like to be in control. If I am in control, no one else will want to fly. Anyway...if you fly somewhere, you miss the middle. I officially retire tomorrow, although I quit working a couple of weeks ago! I will be traveling extensively over the next 18 months by car! |

I made this trip for the birth of my 4th grandchild/2nd grandson! My daughter called me at 9:30 AM Houston time on the 25 to say she was "maybe" in labor. I had 3 men in my attic replacing the coil to my a/c at that time. I hurried around the house, packed up, make arrangements for the dog, called several people, and left here at 12:30 when the men left and then had several errands that had to run prior to leaving the Houston area. I had to drop off my dog (15 miles away), meet my X-husband to pick up some things he was sending to Ohio, stop by my other daughter`s office to get a key to her house, so I could stop at her house and pick up some things she was sending, and I had to stop at Baby`s R Us to purchase a couple of things for the baby`s room that were out of stock in Ohio. I arrived in Little Rock Arkansas around 9:15 pm, stayed the night, then drove to southern Ohio the next day, and then arrived in Cleveland at the hospital to visit my new baby grandson around noon on Saturday, April 27.

Cleveland was a nice town, seemed very quiet, not much going on there on the weekend that I saw the weekend that I was there. Of course, the purpose of my trip was to meet my new grandson, visit my daughter and her husband and partially attend her baby shower which was after the baby was born due to him being almost a month early!
