| Who I went with |
ON this particular trip, I travelled with my school's environmental team. We had won our regional environmental science olympics, so we got to move on to the provincial challenge. I travelled with my teacher, Ms. M, who I wasn't happy with because she likes to take random pictures of me while I'm in a very bad position, and had published a few without my consent in the local newspaper and I looked like I was extremely high on drugs. I also had a tent mate, who I got to share a tent with, his name was KB, and I had no idea that he was a homosexual until something very bad happened on our second night. I wouldn't sleep, in fear something disgusting was going to happen to me. I also got to travel with the foul mouthed BB, BT and YS, who were the girls of our team.
To be quite honest, I wasn't entirely a part of the environmental team, but I was originally part of the Technology Crew that managed their equipment for their shows... I was the captain of that particular squad that arranged for their special guests, and they thought I would do well on their team. I decided to join, since I was looking for some action anyways, and they looked like they really needed help, so why not.
We were now funded by Tim Hortons, so they paid for all of our transport and we also travelled with a bunch of other school teams that were on their way to Provincials.

My personal favourite thing about Cornwall, was, not very much. To be quite honest, it was a very small town, and it was a bit of a redneck town. But all in all, there is good where you find it... and in there were parts of town that were very interesting. Such as the lake shore, which was very big and very nice to look at during sundown.
There was also a point in time where we got to plant a bunch of trees, we got to plant very many trees, to aid in the landscape, which was cool and all because we'll be remembered.

What I didn't like |
|
Well, this place was slightly remote. I was also eating a bunch of stuff that I shouldn't have been eating. And I also fell on a hawthorne tree, which hurt like hell because I had a bunch of massive needles stuck in my arm. I got very sick on this trip, I don't know if it was from the food, the fact that I only wore one set of clothes the whole time (both casual and sleep) and I was always rolling around in dirt and wading through swamp land.

What I recommend |
|
Activities that I would suggest for this area, would probably be skipping rocks around the lake. It's a relatively small lake, and it's always quiet.

Overall, if you've got good housing, and have a good set of clothing and food, then you will not suffer on this trip. I shall visit once again, under more stable conditions on both myself and I won't be dispatched as a student, but more as a tourist.
